Video of the Robotic Biology Institute's Maholo LabDroid, who has been programmed to perform organic solvent-based genomic DNA extraction from cell lysates. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that automation of phenol-chloroform extraction has been reported.<p></p><div>Those visible in the background of the video consented to being included.</div>
